Pads for Pupils
Protek continues its ongoing support to the local community of the Mthatha region. Recently providing sanitary pads to the matric girls of a few schools, including Zamakulungisa S.S.S., Milton Mbekela High School and Xolilizwe Sangoni Technical High School.
It is often the case that these girls are unable to attend class or miss out on important examinations and tests due to the lack of funds and access to basic sanitary needs. We hope to ease the challenges faced at school and reduce the hindrances to their education, which are experienced by young women, as a result of menstruation.
